Hi all,
I'm preparing a new release of SQLOS which finally got integrated the changes
I made in a local branch to support joins and foreign keys: it is now possible
to "navigate" through the joins and the foreign keys of SQLOS objects just
declaring them at the SQLObject level.
Just have a look at the sample application for an example of how to use joins
and foreign keys in your code. If you prefer, here there is a quick tutorial:
subclass SQLOSContainer instead of SQLOS and declare the relationships between
the tables as you would do with SQLObject (using ForeignKey, SQLMultipleJoin,
SQLRelatedJoin, SQLSingleJoin). Everything should work out-of-the-box.
Before releasing this new major version, I'd like to receive some feedback
about these new features and reports about regressions.
You can check-out the code from subversion with the command:
$ svn co http://codespeak.net/svn/z3/sqlos/trunk/ sqlos
Cheers,
