I have found some bugs regarding to the usage of MySQL. If noone else uses it, I'd like to volonteer to do this job. So this is an application for becoming a contributor. What is necessary for that? I've never seen MySQL survive a proper comparison against PostgreSQL 7.1+ for a project except when the target platform is a $5/month LAMP server or the code needed to run unmodified under both Unix and Windows. As for checkin policies: it is a good idea to hang around #z3-base at irc.freenode.net when developing that way you can discuss things with other developers. At least Sidnei hangs around there quite often. Depending on the z3base project you're working on, you should or are required to provide tests with every change you check in. In Revision 29966 (on Apr 13 2005) of ZODB transaction.interfaces.IRollback was removed. transaction/utils.py was also removed. So not the imports are broken and not even the tests run. Who is able to fix it?
