I can't find where Five 1.3 or the Five trunk has that dependency. Maybe
it's a weird indirect dependency?

In any case, feel free to mess with Five in your branch and even merge
it to the Zope 2 trunk when the time comes. Given proper alert from your
side, I will sync the Five trunk with your changes then.
