I would prefer the first one also. Although it does not cover places
where one does not use EditView. A place which probably everyone uses if
he works with schema and widgets are the two utility functions
setupWidgets and applyWidgetChanges. I haven't looked into this, but
these are already somewhat arbitrary and I think they handle the
request, before it is looked up in the widgets.
But I will adopt what ever comes out, as unicode errors are really ugly,
as I learned the hard way :-)
