Ok. I'm all done cleaning up for now anyway. Anything that I missed this 
time will hit the brick wall during the next round of clean up.

Btw, before we do a release, CHANGES.txt should be looked through and 
updated. I think I've seen Lennart dutifully reporting his changes, but 
there might be some other ones that aren't documented yet (e.g. 
traversal issues).
