I agree; I wish you'd let us know earlier, as we could've hunted this 
down earlier.

It seems to work (but for deprecration warnings, I'll tackle this next) 
with Zope 2.7.2 and a recent Zope X3.0 checkout.

The Zope 2.7.2 versus older Zope 2.7.x problem is icky but it's a 
released version and it must be a Zope 2.7.2 bugfix that we're relying 
on here, so okay. The Zope X3.0 issue is due to tracking that version; 
we want to be prepared for a release.

Could you please check the tests again and see whether they run for you?
