Yes, this was on my list as well, of course. I've been wrestling with 
myself for some time now to write a mission statement. I think this is 
important. This shan't be a horribly long text, but a short overview over

   - what we're doing,

   - why we're doing it,

   - who can work with us

   - under which terms

That's a good start for a mission statement :) I shall setup a wiki for 
z3 base soon so we can collaboratively work on it.
