[z3-five] Calendaring

One of the first things that came to my mind was to use Five for the
Calendaring product that I had just released. Calendaring uses the
same __bobo_traverse__ hack to get pluggable views, and a small view
registry. Note that I wrote this *before* Five!
So, anyway, I think it would be a nice real world product for trying
out ideas. What I had in mind is that if Martijn is interested in a
calendaring solution for Silva (I don't know if there's one already)
we could try experimenting with z3's hookable to dispatch to different
backends depending on we are using Silva or Plone. Instead of using
getToolByName we would use getUtility and the hook would take care of
the rest.
For the views, I think that it maps directly to Five views, and I can
remove my __bobo_traverse__ hack and use five:viewable.
Thoughts?
Oh, then we would import Calendaring into codespeak and it would be an
experimental fork of the stable one, to be merged back once Five is
more widely accepted. It would also be an amazing thing to get people
interested in Five and start using it, because lots of people are
looking for nice calendaring solutions.
