no, the directions in CacheFu are to set up Squid *behind* Apache, or

"The file is set up for two different types of configurations: (1)  
direct access to Squid, and (2) Squid behind apache.  Files for these  
2 different configurations are contained in the Squid_direct  
directory and the squid_behind_apache directory, respectively. Look
