it seems that I cannot arrange my trip before the end of next week,
if still and at all possible and the prices don't get too unreasonable.

My father needs to spend some days in the hospital next week, noting too 
serious, at least we hope, and just a few days, but we never know, in 
the past he had to spend up to a month there. He has a cronic heart
problem kept in check with a cocktail of medications but sometimes
they don't work as expected or some other parameter goes out of balance.
The latter is the case this time, it seems.
