hi sprinters in spe,

i have found some time to ask around for where we could
do the next sprints apart from places we already have
been to. I suggest that everyone also tries to do the
same also for a longer time scale. If we want to do
14 sprints in the next two years (during the EU project)
this certainly means that we need to reach out to all
the people we know and further.

One first result is that the nice folks at POV ("Programmers
of Vilnius") in Vilnius, Lithunia, think they can organize a
PyPy sprint from 15th to 21th of November. I am currently
talking to Marius Gedminas to see if we could extend this
period one or two days. We would probably work in a
university which is ten minutes from their office.
I'll keep you updated on any news there.

However, he warns me that Vilnius/Lithunia can get pretty
cold in autumn. Don't expect sitting outside much.

Armin, i took the freedom to mention that at least you
and me could arrive maybe two days earlier and help organizing
and hack a bit with them on e.g. some std/testing stuff.
I mentioned it because you said earlier (for the dublin
sprint) that you could possibly arrive a bit earlier.

So what do you all think of a PyPy sprint around 15th till
21th of November in Vilnius?

cheers,

    holger

P.S.: I also mentioned that - if this sprint happens within the
EU project - that we could probably shell out some money
for the rooms/organization of the sprint.
