[lxml-dev] xpath comparison

Hello,

is there any xpath equivalent in lxml to this:

(ms:string-compare(@START,$symbol)=-1 and
ms:string-compare(@END,$symbol)=1)

which mean:

(START < symbol and symbol < END)

?
