Well, we don't know. We only had one hear-say complaint that "lxml has issues
under MacOS". So, dropping support for the system libs would actually make it
clear where the issues come from. :)

At least, that's the impression you get from the people asking on the list.
But that's not necessarily representative. It may well mean that people who
don't upgrade their libs are plain happy. Just those who try to upgrade run
into problems and ask.
Not very likely, though.

I'll just wait until next week and if no-one complains in time, 2.6.19 will be
out for lxml 1.3. (it would still compile and work in most cases - just not
for everything).
