It would be interesting, however I've tried building libxml from sources
before and it was very non-trivial. In fact, it was so difficult I never
actually succeeded. It turns out that theres a chain of API dependencies
that I can never fulfill. You end up building sources for say 10 different
libraries just in order to build the sources for libxml. If there's a nice,
clean walkthrough on it I imagine I could figure it out. Likewise with
libxslt.
