I am writing to see if it would be possible to dual license (under the
Apache License) the content2edit.xsl file from your Lenya integration. I
find that a large portion is useful for my FCKeditor integration for Lenya.
Thank you,
Richard

Subject: [kupu-dev] Patch for Kupu Lenya integration
Message-ID: <46642EA7.8010202@apache.org>
Attached is a patch for the Kupu Lenya integration. Most of the saving
code now seems to use the title attribute for objects. Therefore when a
page is loaded a second time and saved from Kupu, the alt tag is lost.
This patch fixes this issue. It will apply against 1.2 and current dev
trunk.

Subject: [kupu-dev] Issue tracker problems
Message-ID: <46652932.7050502@johnnydebris.net>
Hello Kupu ppl!
I've received some complaints about the issue tracker, as it's abused
quite a bit by spammers lately. I've clicked through it a bit, and my
conclusion is that it's not used a lot, except for spam, so I'm thinking
that rather than trying to find a way that does allow people to
subscribe and post, but doesn't provide an easy way to post viagra ads
(which may be hard), perhaps we should replace the tracker with a
message 'please post all questions to the mailing list' or something...
It looks like issues aren't looked at too often, so that may make sense
anyway...
Please let me know whether you agree on closing it... (I guess this
question mostly targets Duncan, as I assume he's still the most active
developer?)
Cheers,
Guido

Yes, please disable it. You could suggest that Plone related issues go to
the Plone tracker as that's the tracker I try to follow, and any issues
including Plone related ones can of course continue to come to the mailing
list.

I created a small page, see
http://johnnydebris.net/projects/kupu_issuetracker_message/, to replace
the tracker with. If you're okay with the page, I'll update it asap. If
not, please let me know...

Guido

Subject: [kupu-dev] Kupu Translations
Message-ID:
I've been tidying up the .pot files for kupu, and it has been suggested
that I should add kupu's translation files to the PloneTranslations product
so that people don't need access to codespeak when maintaining the .po
files.
Accordingly I've moved Kupu's .pot and .po files into
PloneTranslations/trunk/i18n/kupu and Kupu now uses svn:externals to
populate its own i18n directory.
As part of the tidy up, I split the existing 2 i18n domains into 3.
"kupu" contains the translatable strings used as part of the normal kupu
usage (mostly Plone but it includes some used only for other versions of
kupu).
"kupuconfig" contains translatable strings used by Kupu's Plone
configuration screens.
"kupupox" (the new domain) contains translatable strings used in
Javascript: these are not currently used in Plone at all (most of them you
will never see, and those which can occur do not get translated in Plone).

Zope 2.7.4, Python 2.3.4, Kupu 1.3.9
Kupu suddenly stopped working while I did not change a single thing of my
setup - this server has been running for over a year without any
administration intervention. An error window appears with this text:
?
"There was a problem initiaiting the drawers. Most likely the XSLT or XML
files are not available. If this is not the Kupu demo version, check your
files or the service that provide them (error: this.baseelement has no
properties)."
To reproduce the problem:
1.) Use zope2/example.pt to make a new Page Template.
2.) Kupu works correctly
3.) Insert the following after :
4.) Kupu displays an error window mentioned on the top of this message.
5.) When step 3 is omitted and a differend fill-slot is used in step 3, such
as , everything works correctly.
Which specific XSLT or XML files should I look for?
