[kupu-dev] could PloneResolveUID be folded into Kupu?

I was looking at http://plone.org/products/plone-resolveuid, which
"allows to replace existing Kupu resolve uids with real urls usable for
visitors and search engines" which got me to thinking:

-- Why doesn't Kupu do this on its own?
-- Is this fixing some as-yet-unreported bug in Kupu?
-- Is there reason one wouldn't want this functionality?
-- Could/should it in fact be rolled into a future release?
