[ftputil] Which Python version(s) do you use?

Stefan's comment is absolutely correct. There is a second scenario to when
dropped support for previous versions will be harmful and will not let
people use the product:
Some systems (third party products) use Python as an extension language - to
allow users develop extensions to the product. I work with one such system,
and I am sure there many other products that allow programming in Python,
but limit to a certain version only (which comes with the product
distribution). So upgrade to a newer Python version sometimes is hard (but
possible), and sometimes is just impossible. For example, current version of
our product works with Python 2.3.*, but does not work with Python 2.4.*
