Last summer we participated in Google's Summer of Code, which was a
great thing for the Cython project. I just wanted to start a thread
to coordinate our participation this next year.
The timeline for mentoring organizations to apply is this this next
week--should we to try applying as a separate organization? Note due
to the economy the scale of GSoC is going to be smaller this year
(less organizations and less students).
Also, who is willing and able to be a mentor this year?
Dag put up a great list of projects up at http://wiki.cython.org/
codeprojects . An older (less refined) list is up at http://
wiki.cython.org/enhancements . If anyone else has ideas, it would be
good to add to this site (preferably the codeprojects one, which is
better oriented to GSoC students.
