[Cython] About Soc

Well,

the soc projects have been decided. Unfortunately my proposal was rejected.
Seems to me that many of the approved projects have an immediate
effect and not a long-term scope.
In my opinion these are signs that something in the soc process should
be changed ...

It is clear that I am a bit disappointed :)

Regarding me, now I am not sure if I will be able to work on cython's AST.
As you all know, it is not a simple task, (and maybe this is the main
motivation under his rejection) and it requires a full focus on it.
Doing something time to time will not work, and if I find a job for
this summer I cannot work on it full time.
